Vincenza A. Stodder, 75, of Abington, MA passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1950, she was the beloved daughter of Rose Vincenza Saia (DiMare) and Dominico Saia of Hyde Park, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, William Stodder, her loving daughters, Jennifer McDonough and her husband Alex of Taunton, and Katie Miner and her husband Matt of Bridgewater. She was a proud and deeply devoted Nonnie to her two cherished grandchildren, CJ and Hailey, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Saia of Easton; her beloved Aunt Santa; and many cherished cousins and dear friends.
Vinnie was a woman whose life was defined by love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to her family. She spent her life putting others before herself, always making sure those she loved were cared for and never asking for much in return. She worked tirelessly to build a beautiful life for her family and found her greatest happiness not in material things, but in love, togetherness, and life’s simple pleasures.
A dedicated and hardworking mother, Vinnie spent many years running a home daycare. Her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless children and families over the years.
Vinnie will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, endless generosity, and the unconditional love she gave so freely throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend Vinnie's visiting hours on Wednesday, July 1st, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All are welcome to the funeral home Thursday, July 2nd, at 9:45 AM to proceed to St. Bridget Church, for a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. A burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
