Obituary

Vivian S.(Shurtleff)Nash, 53 , died Monday July 25th at her home in Abington , after a period of failing health. She was wife of Dana A. Nash, Jr.

Born in Brockton, a daughter of the late Richard and Vivian E. (Dean)Shurtleff, she was brought up and educated in Abington, a life long resident.

Vivian was co-owner of Dana A. Nash & Son Septic & Excavating Co. in Abington for 25 years.

She attended the United Church of Christ in Abington.

She loved to take care of the yard at the family home.

She is survived by her husband Dana A. Nash, Jr. of Abington, her son Paul Thrasher of Brockton,2 daughters Amy Demarco and Christie Nash both of Abington, 2 brothers, Richard Shurtleff of Florida and Elwyn Shurtleff of Fall River;3 grandchildren ,several nieces and nephews

A funeral will be held Friday July 28th at 11:00 A.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, and (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. Visiting hours Thursday July 27th 6-9.
