Obituary

Wayne Parry, 65, of Hanson, died Wednesday, February 27th in the South Shore Hospital, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Judith (O'Malley) Parry of Hanson.
Born and brought up in Weymouth, a graduate of Weymouth High. He was the son of the late Walter and Philomena (DePari) Parry. Wayne has been a resident of Hanson for more than 36 years. He worked for the United Parcel Service for 31 years before retiring in 1999, since then he was employed at Baynes Electric Company.
He was a member of the K of C # 347 and VFW Auxiliary # 697 in Whitman, also Teamster's Local # 653. Wayne enjoyed fishing, gardening, horseshoes and country music.

In addition to his wife Judith, he is survived by his son Wayne M. Parry and his wife Lisa, of East Bridgewater, his daughter, Susan M. Parry of Hanson, his brothers Edward Parry of South Weymouth, William Parry of Whitman and Daniel Parry of Hingham, also 2 grandsons, Jack and Luke Parry of East Bridgewater. He was also the brother of the late Ronald Parry.

His services will be held Monday March 3rd at 9:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth St (RT 58 at the Rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a 10:00 AM funeral mass in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman .Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours will be, Sunday March 2nd 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Charity of One's Choice.
