Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Henry Bessett at the age of 82 from Scituate on April 22, 2018 after a brief illness.

He is survived by longtime companion Rose Abraham of Plymouth and was the brother of two siblings, Alan and wife Diane Bessett of Hanson, Ruth Sayce (Bessett) and her husband Alan also from Hanson. He is also survived by his three children William Bessett of Abington, Nicholas Bessett of Maine, and Sharon (Meekin) Bessett of Bridgewater. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews all who adored him.

A private graveside service will be held at the Saint James Cemetery in Whitman.
