Obituary

Whitman – William Charles "Billy" Parent, 34 of Whitman, passed away on May 5, 2017.

Born in Brockton on May 7, 1982 he was the loving son to Mark E. and Patricia L. (Hunter) Parent.

In addition to his parents he leaves behind his cherished son William C. "Liam" Parent, Jr. and his devoted friend Alexis Velasquez. He was the brother of Timothy Parent and the late Catherine M. (Parent) Hutchings. He also leaves behind his godmother Bea Gerrish and several aunts, uncles and his many friends.

His funeral service will be held Friday May 12 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the Centre Cemetery, Pembroke. Visiting hours will be held Thursday May 11 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
