William 'Bill' Kieran, 78, of Brockton, MA passed away on June 4th, at the Guardian Center after a long illness. 

Born in Brockton, MA in 1948 and the second son of the late Robert Kieran and the late Katherine (Hynes) Kieran, he attended East Bridgewater schools and worked for years in the construction industry, forming a team with his brother Ricky as Brothers Quality Drywall. He loved sports and loved talking politics, expressing deep insights and strong opinions on both subjects, Billy was deeply devoted to his mother and attended to her for years until she passed in 2014. 

He was the husband of the late Maureen (Reardon) Kieran and the brother of Richard Kieran of Lynnfield, MA and the late Robert Kieran and the late Gloria (Hebb) Kieran. He leaves behind a son, James Kieran of Florida and a daughter, Lisa Chamberlain of Milford, MA.

Family and friends are invited to attend Bill's visiting hours on June 17th from 5:00-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
