Obituary

William John Walsh, 26 of Sandwich, passed away on September 27th in the Cape Cod Hospital. He was the son of William J. Walsh, Jr. and step-son of Kellie Walsh and son of the late Briana (Lopes) Walsh.

He was born in Hyannis and brought up in Sandwich where he has been a lifelong resident. William worked in construction as a roofer.

He was in the National Guard for two years. William loved spending time with his daughter, Samiah and his family and friends.

In addition to his father and stepmother he is survived by his daughter Samiah of Sandwich, his fiancé Katrena Conrad, his grandparents, William and Joan Walsh of Whitman and the late Matthew and Jeanette Lopes, his brothers, Adam Walsh of New Bedford, Zachary and Nicholas Walsh of Yarmouth, Seth Davenport of Sandwich, his sister Sarah Davenport of Sandwich, a nephew Caleb Walsh, also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral service will be held on Friday at 8:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.,(Rt.58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 1st from 5:00-8:00PM. Donations may be made to Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod for the benefit of Samiah S.
